A Georgian Irish Made Steel Barrelled Flintlock Blunderbuss . Orignally made Circa 1675 and mounted on a later Walnut Stock, (likely remounted on an old Brown Bess Stock as so many very early 17th Century Irish Made Blunderbuss's where.)
This one has a good working Flintlock Lock marked with Crown and GR, Brass butt stamped with the Irish County Registration of TY for County Tyrone ,also same stamp on barrell.Tang screw missing.
bought from an auction house clearence in Belfast so no history , sorry. old worm damage has been stablised and filled, no ramrod,and slight damage to top screw, all in all a nice honest piece of Irish History
