A Rare Brunswick Pattern 3 Band Musket,Lock Stamped TOWER and dated for 1870 , with V.R. Crown, Walnut Stocked (minor worm damage)and fitted with Regulation Brass Furniture, Buttplate stamped 12, Barrel 36 1/2inches, Overall Length 52in.
In over 30yrs trading in the UK and Ulster i have only seen another one of this type of musket, possibly contract made for one of the Private Landlords Militia's to protect his Estates here in Ireland? No 12 of 100..?... 200..?? I couldnt possible say, I do know it is a quality Tower Made and proofed Musket. and research is on-going in an attempt to find its history !
